Vinification: The grapes are removed from the bunch stems and gently pressed. Maceration begins during fermentation; modern technology ensures the best extraction of colour and the important tannins. Clarification takes place partly in steel casks ( 50% of the wine) and partly in barriques (50%), and then continues after bottling.
Alcohol content: 13,5 % vol
Food pairing: Full,higly characterful with enveloping tones of aromatic herbs, sweet peppers, leather, red-berry fruits and dried fruits.
Excellent with: roasted white meat, braised meats and semiripened cheeses.Serve at 16°C.
